How does it feel to be in a different country??

A stranger greets you Hi, everything has pre defined steps and people follow a system of sophistication, youth needs space and are taught respect is a give and take phenomenon. Elders are expected to give respect to their children if they want to earn respect and vice versa. The dilemma is how can I establish myself as a human in a culture that is so different from mine??

I come from a culture where diversity, respect, traditions have different dimensions. There are clear lines that brings a balance between parent and child's relationship. The child is given independence but still parent holds the right of taking major important decisions of child's life. It is not at all strange for a mature adult who is 25 years of age to stay with his/her parents in India. Arranged marriages are common with love marriages still unacceptable in some parts of the society. People look forward and develop their own independent views but social and family pressure play major role in development of such views.

Still unclear as to which school of thought is right, I have taken a major step towards education that has plethora of knowledge as well as experiences. Eventually, I will find my own correct way to see the world .Teaching young minds as a cultural ambassador and at the same time learning their way of thinking is going to be quite exciting.
